    This thread relates to Pvt. Oliver J. Babineau, F.96250, North Nova Scotia Highlanders, R.C.I.C., KIA on the 18th July 1944 and buried at Beny sur Mer Canadian Cemetery, Normandy:

    Hello there,

    Presuming that Private Babineau was killed on the 18th July, as opposed to died of wounds sustained earlier, he was one of five "other rank" casualties that day, the capture of Vaucelles, or "Caen south/east of the Orne"
