    hello
I have discovered it a few years ago a full helmet on the heavy helmet, badge, probably of the 29th
The liner is shown a number of Regimental 337 90948 and the name of Brenner
after the superficial research could be a stretcher bearer who served in 104 medical battalion affiliated to the 29th
pouurai I possibly have more information on this soldier in order to write an article in a magazine for the Battle of Normandy
    thank you

    Hi Jean Luc,

I found this on the Fold3 site:

The number on the helmet liner appears to be his service number in full 33790948.

    Will keep digging.

    Regards,

    Pat

    Hi Jean Luc,

I tried googling on the date 29th November 1943 but could find nothing. I wonder if the names 'Janet Frances' refer to his wife and daughter (or daughters). Perhaps he put the names on the helmet for good luck.

Can you post a photograph of the helmet liner please?

    Thanks,

    Pat
