I am Robert T Brown III. I am 74 years old. My uncle, William Brown, was a flight officer and copilot of glider #29 that crash landed in France. His pilot, Tommy Biggs, and he survived and were cared for by a French family until they could be conducted safely back to friendly territory. My cousin, f/o Brown's son, Robert L. Brown, and my friend, Francois Dubois, are attempting to work with members of the forum to gain more details about the exact location of my uncle's landing as well as any other information. Thank you for creating such a valuable resource and your knowledge and expertise. I have joined to simply be of assistance if Robert and Francois need me.

    Bob

    Hi Bob,

We are delighted to have you as a member and privileged to have the opportunity to help with an attempt to locate your uncle’s glider landing site.

For those readers new to the Forum, we have this quest already underway in Francois’s ‘Chicago Glider #29 Landing Location’ thread.

    Regards,

    Pat
